Second IALCCE LCM workshop 2024
Van 6 tot 8 oktober 2024 vindt op het Forteiland IJmuiden de tweede workshop Life Cycle Management plaats. De workshop wordt georganiseerd door de International Association for Life-Cycle Civil Engineering (IALCCE). Workshop betekent interactie, actief luisteren en (vooral) inspirerende discussies. Om hieraan bij te dragen is het vanaf nu mogelijk om "abstracts" in te dienen, een "full paper" is niet nodig. Daarnaast bieden we de mogelijkheid om "science-to-practice sessions" te organiseren zoals serious gaming, interactieve simulaties en "tool demonstrations". Gezien het interanationale karakter van deze workshop is engels de voertaal.
De volgende sessies zijn zeker:
- mini masterclass that gives a vision on the implementation of Life Cycle Management. The added value of LCM is recognized, but the real change is not forthcoming. This masterclass shows positive practical experiences and discusses implementation through small steps and creating successes.
- mini session in which you will play the serious game "InfraLife" with us. This gives insight into the interplay of decision-making processes of different administrators. In this way, you will discover how the administrator creates a well-performing network and image.
- Session on implementation of LCC: There are many good examples on how to support decisions using LCC. Most of these examples are the results of pilots, research projects and theoretical papers. But which of these tools and methodologies reach the operational processes?
We will ask this question to different client organizations.
